CheckDrive — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

CheckDrive (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a car-trip checklist app. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using CheckDrive you agree to this policy.

1. Information stored on your device

Your checklists, trip history, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not operate accounts and we do not upload, sync, or store this content on our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

2. Bluetooth / vehicle detection

If you enable automatic car detection, the app uses Bluetooth to recognize when your phone connects to or disconnects from a car you choose. This detection happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your Bluetooth devices, pairing information, or location.

3. Information collected by third parties

The app uses the following third-party services, which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

4. Notifications

With your permission, the app sends local notifications (for example, a back-seat reminder when you leave your car). These are generated on your device. You can turn them off in your device settings at any time.

5. How information is used

Data handled by the app is used only to provide its features (checklists, reminders, vehicle detection), to display advertising, and to process and restore purchases. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Your choices

7. Children

CheckDrive is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
